BRING SOMETHING TO THE TABLE
At River City, we value serving as a community and believe that everyone has something to bring to the table. All of our events and functions are brought together by teams of volunteers. If you are a part of our family, we would to have you come alongside us in serving the community.
Volunteers in City Kids serve our nursery – 5th grade classrooms during Sunday services. In serving, volunteers are able to enter into the discipleship process by offering a hand to the next generation.
Volunteers in the Worship ministry use their gifts and abilities to minister to the church body through the expression of worship to the Lord through music. Opportunities include worship during Sunday services and other church events.
Volunteers on our Connections team are some of the first people our attendees come in contact with at Sunday services. They serve our church by greeting people before services and helping with hospitality.
Volunteers in the Students ministry serve by interacting with our Middle Schoolers during the sermon portion of the Sunday service. Serving also includes building relationships with the students at planned events outside of the church.
Volunteers on the Media team keep things running smoothly during Sunday services and at events. They run the lighting, sound booth, and put up slides during services.
Volunteers in the Prayer ministry have opportunities to serve in a number of different ways including pre-service intercession, altar ministry time, prayer weeks, and our monthly prayer nights: One Night.
